Advanced - Brown Belt Curriculum
There is a four-months required waiting period. This is a prepartion stage for the black belt test (1st dan or poom). Conditioning and perfecting the curriculum of all past material is mandatory. Some research and reading is required in history, philosophy, and differentiation between different techniques and martial arts, as well as in the history of martial arts (Kung Fu), and TaeKwonDo.

Individuals will have two separate exams: The first is a written or oral exam depending on the age of the student, the second is a physical one. Do not underestimate the written or oral exam, which might well be the hardest part of the test. Study well!

Breaking: It will be divided into two categories, HANDS and LEGS. You will have to break with almost every single technique you know. Accuracy, speed, power, and confidence are required. You will have to perform every single Form and kick combination, out of order, and with no rest periods. Stamina and fluency is necessary.

You will have many sparring matches, restricted and free style, strategy, endurance, and overall good technique should help you survive this stage. Overall, you need solid basics, good conditioning, a strong will, and the knowledge and technical skill of a good fighter to pass this. But you can do it, that is what you trained for. Good luck.
