3. Sparring basics
1. Out to in chop
2. Single knife hand
3. Counter attacking
Kicks 1. Long Snap kick
2. Twist kick
3. Straight back kick
4. Snap/roundhouse kick
5. Double roundhouse
Hands Spinning backfist
Kick combinations 1. Skip snap kick - side kick
2. Skip roundhouse kick - spin hook
3. Skip Side kick - back kick
4. Skip hook kick - spin hook
5. Skip twist kick - in to out kick
6. Straight Back kick - skip side
7. Skip in to out kick - Spinning in to out
8. Out to in kick - skip side kick
All combinations end with a reverse punch with a yelling
Hand combinations 1. (Back leg) step ahead, punch - backfist - reverse punch with a yell.
2. (Front leg) skip Backfist - reverse punch - spin backfist, yelling
Sparring Yes Sparring at this level is medium contact to the body, light contact to the head and neck. All hand techniques to the head must be well controlled and avoid the eyes and nose. Absolutely no attacks to the spine, nor anywhere below the waist/belt.
